Chengdu Tianfu Software Park and CEIBS Co-Hosts Biggest-Ever CEO Joint Conference
In response to the growing demand of its corporate tenants, Chengdu Tianfu Soft Park (TFSP) today hosted the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) Innovation Forum Series 2019 - Chengdu at the Hilton Hotel Chengdu. Guests at the event, including CEIBS Finance Professor Huang Ming and CEIBS Alumni Association Sichuan Chapter President and Chairman of Maipu Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (Maipu) Hua Xin, explored and analysed ways to maintain the sustainable development of companies at TFSP amidst the current economic background and Chengdu's development of an international business environment.
Dialogue between CEIBS and Chengdu Enterprises
Prof. Huang delivered a keynote speech at the forum on "Corporate Innovation and Financial Discipline." On the macro level, he introduced new policies and trends in the capital market. On the micro level, he analysed how enterprises can survive and seek stable development during the overall economic situation. He also explained a number of ways enterprises could improve their core competitiveness based on a deep analysis on specific practices of international front-runners. Mr. Hua Xin then gave a speech on the theme of "Risk Prevention in Enterprises" backed by business cases of Maipu.
A discussion panel was then held with TFSP enterprise representatives, including tap4fun Chairman and Founder Kevin Yang, and Chengdu Medlinker Ltd. Co-founder Zheng Liwei, along with Prof. Huang, Mr. Hua Xin, and Yimikang Tech Group Co., Ltd. President Zhang Wan. Together, they shared numerous insights on the issue of surviving the current economic cycle and engaged in a lively Q&A session with the audience.
Rising Influence of Joint CEO Conference
The Forum was co-sponsored by CEIBS and TFSP, with the assistance of Yimikang Tech Group, Chengdu New Energy Vehicle Industry Alliance, and Chengdu Chamber of Investment and Financing, together with the support of the Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce. The Forum also served as TFSP's latest CEO Joint Conference.
The CEO Joint Conference was established as part of TFSP's aim to serve as a platform for in-depth exchange and sharing between CEOs and senior executives through events such as symposiums, salons, and forums, so as to facilitate efficient and sustainable cooperation among enterprises at TFSP. After hundreds of activities over the past few years, the conference has expanded to form a crucial link in offering interaction opportunities for enterprises both within and outside of TFSP and providing CEOs and senior executives with training services, as well as facilitating matchmaking between enterprises at TFSP and external resources.
Jointly organised with CEIBS, the Innovation Forum proved to be the largest-ever event of the CEO Joint Conference. It attracted CEOs and senior executives from more than 40 enterprises at TFSP and dozens of those outside - many of whom are members of CEIBS Alumni Association Sichuan Chapter. The forum has further expanded the influence of the CEO Joint Conference outside Chengdu, helping it to reach a new level.
