Chinese firms keen to build high-rise buildings in Telangana

Chinese firms have come forward to invest in Telangana for construction of bridges, tunnels and high-rise buildings, the state government said on Friday.

A team of officials from various Chinese companies met Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad on Friday and discussed issues relating to various proposed projects.

Bank of China has agreed to provide 85 per cent of the funds for India's tallest tower proposed to be built on the banks of Hussain Sagar lake. A final decision in this regard will be taken at another meeting to be held soon, according to a statement from the chief minister's office.
