The ground-breaking ceremony of Bahrain Dragon City was held on June 26 at Diyar Al Muharraq, Kingdom of Bahrain. The ceremony was co-organized by Chinamex Middle East Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (Chinamex), and Diyar Al Muharraq. Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Mr. Li Chen, former Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Mr. Yang Weiguo, Bahrain government ministers, Muharraq municipal council representatives and businessmen attended the event.

 

 

Mr. Hao Feng, Chairman of Chinamex, and Mr. Abdul Hakim Al Khayyat, Chairman of Diyar Al Muharraq, also attended the ceremony and delivered a congratulation speech.

  

Mr. Hao expressed his thanks for the support the project has received and stressed that Bahrain Dragon City will not only boost bilateral trade between the two countries but also attract people from around the world to invest in Bahrain and increase Bahrain's influence in the Middle East, thus facilitating Bahrain's growth in real estate, tourism and employment. As the ceremony took place, the tenants invitation will start and attract many businesses. Diyar Al Muharraq Chairman also expressed appreciation for the long-term and sincere cooperation with Chinamex and said there will be continuous support and coordination to co-promote the development of Bahrain Dragon City.

 

Bahrain Dragon City is a Chinese-themed retail and wholesale development which takes advantage of Bahrain's strategic location and provides a broad trade platform for Chinese companies.

 

The ground-breaking ceremony is a milestone in the development of Bahrain Dragon City.
