Burundi, China Sign 3 Cooperation Agreements

Brief:Burundi and China sign three inter-governmental agreements. In the future, the two countries will strengthen cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, energy, transport, telecommunications, infrastructure etc.
Three inter-governmental agreements have been signed between Burundi and China during a visit by Chinese Vice-Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan to the Central African country.

The agreements cover Burundi's infrastructure projects including a government building, a hydroelectric power station and Internet development.

The two delegations expressed satisfaction with cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, energy, transport, telecommunications, infrastructure, health and human resource training.
