China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFAIR) was successfully held on 3rd-4th December in Beijing, this fair was organized by China Industry Overseas Development and Planning Association (CIODPA) with the approval of China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) to enhance cooperation between China and the rest of the world.

142 exhibitors from more than 60 countries have come to the fair to promote their investment opportunities and to seek partners from China. The fair also attracted more than 5000 investment professionals who are fully prepared and are coming to look for investment chance to “Go global”.

Mr. Behrouz Alishiri, Vice Finance Minister of Iran also come to the fair with Organization for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance Of Iran (OIETAI), he specificly explained about the economy of Iran and said:” Iran is a very stable country and a land of golden opportunities which enjoys comparative advantages compared to its neighboring countries and the countries of the Middle East."
 

Mr. Charis Papacharalambous, Director General of Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency also reported the economic and commercial environment of Cyprus, and shared the most important information regarding setting up business in Cyprus which attracted many interested investors’ attention.

As the Chinese government is encouraging Chinese companies both state owned and private to invest overseas under the “Go Global” policy, many Chinese businesses are now eyeing more on overseas investment opportunities. It’s no doubt that the 4th China Overseas Investment Fair is a pragmatic and fruitful grant occasion in the sector of China outbound investment, to pave the way for Chinese companies of implementing multi-national investment business.
