AP Acquisition Corp Announces Closing of $172.5 million Initial Public Offering

NEW YORK, Dec. 22, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- AP Acquisition Corp (the "Company"), a special purpose acquisition company formed for the purpose of entering into a combination with one or more businesses, today announced the closing on December 22, 2021 (HKT) of its initial public offering of 17,250,000 units, including 2,250,000 units issued to the underwriter upon the full exercise of its over-allotment option, at a price of $10.00 per unit. The units began trading on the New York Stock Exchange and trade under the ticker symbol "APCA-U" on December 17, 2021 (HKT). Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share of the Company and one-half of one redeemable warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one Class A ordinary share of the Company at a price of $11.50 per share. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the Class A ordinary shares and warrants are expected to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols "APCA" and "APCA-W," respectively.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is acting as book-running manager of the offering.
