On Feb. 3, China National Chemical Corporation announced its purchase of the largest farm chemical company in the  world, Switzerland-based Syngenta, at a cost of 43 billion US dollars, setting a record for a Chinese companies' overseas acquisitions. 
 
Overseas mergers and acquisitions have become the driving force of China's foreign investment in 2015. Last year, the total value of acquisition deals by Chinese enterprises had reached 656 billion US dollars.  
 
In 2016, China’s acquisition drive remains dynamic. Chinese enterprises have gotten involved in four M&As, bidding 61.7 billion US dollars for property in the US and Europe. 
 
China will expand its investments in nations participating in the "Belt and Road" Initiative.  Well, are you ready to scramble for China's "red packets?”
