As described by Mr. Rojas, Ecuador is the first country in the Americas to develop the aquaculture industry, with 40 years of experience in shrimp farming and research. Its ideal geographic location and natural conditions, coupled with pleasant weather and a lack of extreme temperatures, create a highly conducive environment for shrimp breeding and aquaculture. Ecuador is an environmentally conscious nation, with clean soil and water sources, a strong emphasis on environmental protection, and a workforce characterized by professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility—these factors collectively contribute to Ecuador's abundant production of high-quality white shrimp.

Ecuador's white shrimp is exported to more than 50 countries, making it the first or second source of imported shrimp in Europe and the United States. Currently, Ecuador is actively exploring opportunities in Asian countries, including China, with the hope of increasing the export of white shrimp and other aquatic products to the Chinese market.

Chinese importers and suppliers displayed keen interest in Ecuadorian white shrimp and seafood products, actively seeking information on-site.
