Pakistani PM Meets Chinese Delegation on China-Pak Economic Corridor

Brief:Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met a Chinese delegation of Joint Cooperation Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. What's more, the two days' meeting was very fruitful.
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met a Chinese delegation of Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor led by Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission Zhang Xiaoqiang at the Prime Minister's Office on Wednesday.

Sharif said that Pakistan attaches great importance to Pak- China friendship and accords top priority to the Pak-China Economic Corridor. He appreciated interests of Chinese companies to invest in development projects in Pakistan, which are vital for the economic growth of the country.

Zhang said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is an important consensus taken by leaders of both countries, which not only provides a favorable opportunity for taking their economic cooperation to a new height, but also benefits the two peoples and promotes economic integration of the region.

Pakistani Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal said that "the two days' meeting was very fruitful," both sides thoroughly exchanged their views on the plan of the economic corridor and the implementation of priority projects, Pakistani experts team will visit China very soon on the invitation of the Chinese side.
