China to be actively engaged in cooperations with Poland

Brief:China would be more actively engaged in cooperations with Europe, and join in hands with Poland to elevate the Sino-EU cooperations.
China would be more actively engaged in cooperations with Poland,Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi pledged on Monday.

Noting Poland's active role in European Union (EU) and eastern Europe, Yang said China has attached great importance to the bilateral relations with Poland and would be willing to promote further cooperations.

China would actively support EU in adopting measures to fight the ongoing sovereign debt crisis, and join in hands with Poland to elevate the Sino-EU cooperations, Yang said.

The Polish Foreign Minister, Radoslaw Sikorski, expressed his hope in boosting bilateral communications at high-level and cooperations with China while assuming a constructive role in enhancing the Sino-EU relations.

The ministers also confirmed that both sides were committed to contribute further to the peaceful reconstruction of Afghanistan.
